Melnyk has heard that there is a new striped bass world record this morning! An 81.6 pound slob was taken in Connecticut waters this morning on a live eel. This fish was believed to have been taken on the Southwest reef by a fellow named Al Stromski. The fish was weighed in at Shoreline Bait and Tackle in Westbrook Ct. WOW!
I saw that and it made me want to fish more. I'm looking forward to the fall. By the way just got finished reading your book and I loved it. I have been enthralled by your book and would love to start skishing. I have been wetsuiting all summer and will continue into the fall in Montauk where I spend most of my fall. Maybe we will run into each other out in the battlefield. Tight lines.
